The fourth in the Gameboy series of Pokemon RPGs, Pokemon Yellow wins in the cuteness stakes. It sticks to the plot of the TV show, right down to the appearances of Team Rocket. The main feature of this, naturally, is that your character has a pikachu trailing him throughout the game. You can check Pikachu's mood (the more battles you win, the happier he is) and just generally hang out with it. The big advantage this game holds over red, blue and green, however, is that you can catch all the Pokemon in the one game (as opposed to only certain Pokemon being in the wild in the previous three.) This is also the first of the series to utilise the color Gameboy, and it's definitely worth it. If you don't have any of the original four, this is the one to get.
